for a Living.

WHAT BRINGS YOU HERE?
If you're here, you're probably a singer, musician, dancer, actor, ceramist, illustrator, writter, or any another kind of performer or artist.
And something isn't reaching the stage, the studio, or the page the way it used to.
Maybe it's:
-
Tension in your voice, hands, back, or breath that shows up right when you need to perform or create.
-
Old injuries or pain that flare before a show, a session, or a deadline.
-
Exhaustion from touring, teaching, and the pressure to keep producing.
-
A gap between how you used to create and how you create now. More effort, less flow.
-
No motivation or inspiration to create.
-
Stress related to exposure, power plays with management, finances, security, funds applications, etc.
You've tried physio, voice coaches, massage, coaching, therapy. Some of it helped. None of it lasted.
You're here because your body is your instrument, and want to be creative and build your creative dream and career from a grounded and embodied place.
You are here because you are done creating from pressure, and want to create from pleasure and trust.
Here is where you and I meet.

In The Creative Body Immersion, my Grinberg Method Learning Process built specifically for artists, I work with the body that creates and performs, which through that constantly faces challenges related to its artistry: persistence, motivation, stamina, inspiration, injuries related to the creative craft at hand, etc.
I've worked one-on-one with singers, musicians, dancers, stage performers, directors, visual and craft artists for years, most of them referred by other artists who did this work with me first.
Through this immersion, you learn exactly what your body is doing underneath the tension, the injury, or the block, and how to affect it directly, through touch, breath, and movement, so it doesn't just ease between shows or projects. It changes for good, as you meet the challenges that show up on your path as an artist.
IN THIS IMMERSION, YOU WILL:
-
Learn exactly what your body does under pressure, before a performance, in the studio, on a deadline, and how that shows up as pain, tension, anxiety, insecurity, or a block in your creative flow.
-
Practice releasing the patterns that limit your creative freedom in real time, through touch, breath, and movement, so it stops costing you on the days that matter most, and generally on your path.
-
Recover the range and energy your craft needs, whether that's your voice, your imagination, your hands, your stamina, or your presence on stage, on the job.
-
Receive sessions built around your schedule (touring, rehearsals, deadlines), with practices to use between sessions and support in between.
-
Create and perform from a body that isn't bracing against itself.
-
Learn to deal with pain, fear, anxiety, frustration in a completely new and transformative, and resourceful way.
-
Build a sustainable relationship to your body and include it in your creative process, as a full-time ressource.
HOW DOES THIS IMMERSION GO?
THE ASSESSMENT SESSION: DEFINING THE AIM
In our first meeting, we define your aim for the process over a talk and a foot analysis:
What are you here to change, in your body, your craft, or both? What is between you and that?
When we've named your intention, I invite you to the massage table for your first hands-on session (or to the yoga mat if we meet online), marking the start of your immersion.
THE FOLLOWING SESSIONS
Throughout the immersion, you grow your body attention, reconnect to your body, and learn how you hold and maintain the patterns that show up in your craft and disturb your creative process, and stop them.
Through touch, breath, movement, and clear verbal guidance, you practice choosing differently, on stage, in the studio, and off it.
THE INTEGRATION
You anchor each session's teachings into your practice and your life as the immersion goes on, with body-based practices to keep expanding on your own between sessions.
"Bodywork for me has turned out to be more than just self-care. It's been a dedication to staying present in my body and has been tremendously helpful in maintaining a relationship with it that goes beyond words.
As an artist, I use my body in everything, constantly exposing it to media and audiences.
Like many people, I've had a complicated relationship with my body throughout my life, and when it's also your work, this becomes even more complex. Dedicating time to focus on different body parts and my feelings about them has been transformative.
After more than a year of working with Juliette, I've changed the way I look at myself in the mirror. I see something different now and have far fewer critical thoughts about my appearance and a much deeper feeling of gratitude, which is incredibly valuable.
Bodywork is more than therapy for me: it's a lifestyle. I love dedicating an hour to this practice. It can be hard to do alone, but with a practitioner, you get to follow your own journey with a witness, and that's beautiful. It isn't a quick fix, but after many months, I can feel that it's slowly changing how I perceive the world and myself, and that's what makes it so powerful.
I find it inspiring to work with someone who shows devotion and development in their own practice. Juliette is also on her own journey, which is wonderful to witness. The hierarchy between practitioner and client isn't so present in her work, which I deeply value.
I also appreciate that Juliette and I have been building a genuine relationship. When you expose yourself and your emotions to such a degree, it's essential to be with someone who demonstrates trustworthiness.
My overall focus has been learning how to relax, which was difficult to do alone. Having these sessions consistently throughout the year reminds me that I'm still learning what it feels like when my body lets go. It's profound work; the body is so deeply subconscious that you can't completely change in one or two sessions. Changes happen subtly and last over time, especially with consistent practice. Every session leaves me with more love, gratitude, and relaxation.
I truly appreciate the long-lasting transformation you're supporting me with."

WHAT'S DIFFERENT IN YOUR BODY AND IN YOURSELF, IN RELATION TO YOUR CREATIVE PROCESS AND LIFE AS AN ARTIST, COMPARED TO BEFORE GOING THROUGH THIS IMMERSION?
"I feel myself better. More in tune with my body and my needs.
I take my own wellbeing and health more seriously in order to be creative. I can’t push myself like a machine and expect myself to perform more or better or keep being creative. You have helped me connect the dots between “creativity” and “how my body feels” if that makes sense."
ARE THERE ONE OR SPECIFIC SESSIONS OR MOMENTS THAT STOOD OUT TO YOU?
"That is difficult because I have many moments that stand out.
One thing that stands out for me was when you made me aware of how much energy I use on “being looked at” by others. I have been used to constantly having this judge in my head. An the judge would always take shape of others. Other artists, friends, followers on SoMe etc.
And those judges where very harsh and would judge my work before it even existed. And the judges would also play a big part in how my work would eventually look. And most importantly they were a very big blocker for my creativity because they where very much retraining my creativity.
You helped me first of all be aware that it was happening and how I could sometimes free myself from all these judges and create a space where I could create in peace without all these eyes on me.
Another thing that stands out for me was the session where we took a point of departure in a specific meeting I would have the next day. It was super interesting to work on/ prepare for a specific situation/event and then feel how big a difference it made. We worked on how I should not make myself smaller in that specific situtation around certain people. And how to stay in my body and stay grounded while negotiating. It was a big game changer for me.
I can imagine how much eg. a musician could gain from doing sessions before a big concert.
Lastly, I have to mention when you came to my studio and you were with me while I was working. Every time, I sit at my wheel now I take a moment to think of you and what you have taught me before I start working."

FAQ
DO I NEED TO BE A PROFESSIONAL ARTIST?
No. This is for anyone whose creative or performance practice runs through their body, professional or not, as long as it's a real, ongoing part of your life.
WHAT IF I'M MID-TOUR/PERFORMANCE OR BETWEEN PROJECTS?
Sessions run in-person in Copenhagen or online, so we build the schedule around yours.
HOW IS THIS DIFFERENT THAN IN YOUR BONES?
Same method, same process. This immersion is paced and priced for a 6-month arc built around an artist's schedule and the specific ways pressure shows up in a creative practice.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
Performing and creative artists (singers, musicians, dancers, actors, ceramists, and other craftspeople) whose body is core to their income and their craft.
People who aspire to give their artistic expressions a greater space in their life,
who want to take their art journey to the next step.
People who've tried physio, massage, or voice coaching without lasting change.
People ready for a sustained process, not a one-off fix before the next show.
WHO IS THIS NOT FOR?
A single acute crisis right before a performance. See Body-First Crisis Support instead.
Anyone looking for a quick fix with no will to practice between sessions.

ABOUT JULIETTE
I spent most of my life making art, and for 15 years, grew as a visual artist in the animation and storytelling field.
Very early on in my career, I became aware of how disconnected from my body I was, and how this split directly affected my creative spark and confidence.
My life changed after I went on a sick leave due to a chronic shoulder inflammation from overworking as an animator on a commercial project in 2017.
This is when I actively chose to shift gear and focus, and follow my intuition to dive into the field of movement, dance, embodiment practices to recover from my injury and find meaning again in my own creative practice.
This exploration put me on the path to a Grinberg Method Practitioner in Berlin, who, after a couple of sessions in her hands, showed me an entirely new way to relate to myself and to my body. 95% of all of my chronic ailments, conditions, and pain were gone. My energy and trust came back.
This is when I took a vow with myself that I would learn this approach and support my peers in their lives and creative processes.
9 years later, I've been supporting many people in releasing life-long tensions, teaching them how to truly listen to their bodies, going from helpless towards their situations to hopeful, and rebuilding their trust in themselves and their artistic paths through the Grinberg Method and De-armouring.
If you are more curious about the methodology I use in this immersion, I invite you to watch this video in which my teacher Avi Grinberg shares with Ohad Naharin and his Batsheva Company Dancers a few of the contexts and tools I teach my clients.
